18 Professions I Photograph Most Often in Studio!

I was curious which professions I photograph most often, so I went to my spreadsheet and calculated all my sessions from the last year, and did the math! Here’s a look at my most commonly photographed professions. #1: Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners

One of the most common professions I photograph are entrepreneurs and small business owners! Marketing portraits and headshots are really important for business owners, large and small, because they help your clients connect with the person behind the business.

#2: Medical Professionals

I photograph many medical professionals for professional headshots and lifestyle portraits for their practices. I regularly photograph doctors, surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists, physical therapists, registered dietitians, psychiatrists, and more. I’ve photographed medical professionals from Mass General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Beth Israel, among many other smaller medical practices. Being based in the Greater Boston area, it’s no surprise that I photograph lots of professors and academics! We live near some of the best universities and colleges in the nation, and I regularly photography headshots and portraits for local professors.

I photograph lots of musicians and bands! I love capturing both individual musicians (violinists, singers, pianists, saxophonists and more!) as well as bands (album cover photography, EPK and press photos) and can photograph either at my dianalevine.com/editorialminisessions.
