I was curious which professions I photograph most often, so I went to my spreadsheet and calculated all my sessions from the last year, and did the math! Here’s a look at my most commonly photographed professions. #1: Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners

One of the most common professions I photograph are entrepreneurs and small business owners! Marketing portraits and headshots are really important for business owners, large and small, because they help your clients connect with the person behind the business.

I photograph many medical professionals for professional headshots and lifestyle portraits for their practices. I regularly photograph doctors, surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists, physical therapists, registered dietitians, psychiatrists, and more. I’ve photographed medical professionals from Mass General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Beth Israel, among many other smaller medical practices. I offer headshots in studio, or on location at medical offices across Massachusetts.

I photograph many law professionals, including attorneys, paralegals and more! I offer headshots in studio, or I bring my studio on location to law offices across Massachusetts.

I photograph lots of writers, speakers, podcasts hosts, life coaches and more! I love helping clients express their personalities, stories, and expertise through their portraits.

I frequently photograph mental health councilors, such as social works, therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists.

I frequently photograph CEOs, COOs, CTOs and more! I offer headshots in studio, or I bring my studio on location to offices across Massachusetts.

#8: Professors and Academics

Being based in the Greater Boston area, it’s no surprise that I photograph lots of professors and academics! We live near some of the best universities and colleges in the nation, and I regularly photography headshots and portraits for local professors.

One of my most common professions I photograph are real estate professionals, including realtors and real estate agents, throughout the Greater Boston area.

#11: Musicians and bands

I photograph lots of musicians and bands! I love capturing both individual musicians (violinists, singers, pianists, saxophonists and more!) as well as bands (album cover photography, EPK and press photos) and can photograph either at my dianalevine.com/editorialminisessions.

I regularly photograph headshots for actors and model kit photos for models, as well as Instagram fashion influencers. If you’re booking acting photos, let me know in advance and we can discuss what tone you’d like for your photos (comedy, drama, or any specific genres).

Working in the Boston area, where sports are such a big part of life, I photograph lots of athletes! I photograph professional athletes (NBA, NFL, NHL and MLS) as well as college athletes and recreational athletes and fitness professionals.
