The Boston Globe’s 2026 Working Mothers Summit
On Thursday, March 26, I had the honor of photographing hundreds of headshots on location at The Boston Globe’s 2026 Working Mothers Summit!
We brought the studio on location to the Omni Hotel in Seaport, Boston! I photographed hundreds of headshots, and each attendee was able to choose their headshot on the computer right after their session!
Photographing a headshots booth at a conference or expo is a detailed process—for each person, they check in on the iPad, which enables us to connect the person’s photos with their name and email for delivery.
When I’m photographing hundreds of headshots, I move pretty quickly—I adjust the timing based on how long the line is (if there’s no one waiting in line, I can take longer. If there are dozens of people in line, I try to mover a little quicker). One of the most important skills for event headshots is being able to capture good quality portraits, very quickly!
